Vacation Sewing Fun What do you do when your children need something to do over a school vacation? Get them sewing, of course! Janome IT Coordinator Terry Trouf helped her 7-year-old daughter make a flannel quilt for her doll on her new Elna Opal machine. Haley cut out and sewed the blocks together and then quilted it with a zigzag stitch on the seam lines (no worrying about whether the stitches were exactly in the ditch!). Mom Terry added the binding. Now Haley has a quilt that she proudly made herself and mother and daughter spent quality time together over school vacation. |
